The LBD, Velvet dresses and slinky sequin tops - it's Christmas party season at viav!

NEW items added to the Etsy store!

Check out this new super-diva strapless black velvet - esque dress with lace fishtail type bottom. What a great Christmas party piece, to be worn in a sophisticated way, with heels and clutch or grunge style with Doc Martens and dark lipstick!! As it's so 80s, this would also look great at a fancy dress party if dressed up with the right accessories! Check it out here!

This totally lit stretchy black bodysuit comes no doubt from some 80s babe in a rad dance troupe. We'd wear this with high waisted shorts on a night out, or would make an awesome fancy dress piece with leggings or black tights. There are poppers on the crotch (which hold well are in a clean, good order btw, incase you were concerned!). The sequin bra area has been hand sewn and is still in great order, reflects a subtle Madonna-esque vibe. Check out the shop here.

Really awesome black velvet mini dress with gorgeous back detailing. The back section is made of hand beaded satin sections which lead to a velvet collar and a diamonte button. The zip is to one side, and luckily this fabric is stretchy so that it will cling to all of the correct parts! Totally on trend, this style and fabric is in all of the big fashion stores now - except you won't look like a clone! See if it's in stock here!

A mega glam black sequin and beaded long sleeved dress by Continental Couture Ltd. This beaut will certainly keep you the centre of attention in a flattering yet 80s style peplum which nips in at the waist and boasts a pretty pleat. The dress has been intricately hand beaded and is covered from head to toe in black sequins. Originally these dresses by this brand sold for hundreds of ££££'s so this is a luxury, heavy item! It zips up at the back and has a split in the bottom so you can still wiggle around during wearing and out of it easily enough at the end of your night! See it here!

  1. Yes I in fact required the curtain diminished way too, but that is how it arrived from the design! I am not sure the burdastyle image is in fact exactly the same as this pattern. As my fabric had a lot of stretch in it and I made the bodice extra free and it didn't drape anywhere close as non at the picture on Burda!

  2. Really enjoyed browsing through these pics, each outfit is beautiful and looks great on you. I have also started my own blog about clothing and fashion. I mostly talk about fitness wear that are also very stylish, and I leave my honest reviews on different clothes. Right now I’m working on a review for the Alo Yoga pants that I bought last month.
